Slap me thrice and hand me back to me mamma – this was a cracker! Rapture’s Edge is the third book in the Night Prowler series and it’s definitely the best by far. This is exactly what I have been looking for in a book at the moment: impassioned, intelligent and sexy. Ms. Geissinger writes with such great confidence in her characters, it was fab-u-lous. This lady is not afraid to pull her punches – and neither are her characters.
Now, picture this – Paris, high stakes lady thievery, underground fighting rings and ancient dark catacombs. Shiver me timbers, someone get me a free tour! I myself screamed like a little bitch when it came to visiting the very same catacombs two years ago. Needless to say, I stayed near the entrance and waited for my hubby to come back, his iPhone loaded with images of him holding skulls aloft with Japanese tourists. Ick. So I have a lot of respect for Eliana our heroine – go girl.
